Costs and Quotations
After carefully examining a piece, Edie provides an assessment of all damage, even if hidden by previous restoration. After a discussion of the possibilities, a final price will be agreed upon before any work is started. Customers can send or email a picture and receive a very rough estimate, but need to understand that she must have the piece in her hands in order to analyze it thoroughly.

Pick up and Shipping
Pick up and delivery services are occasionally available in the San Francisco, Los Angeles and Santa Barbara areas, or (should a customer wish to visit the nearby Great Sequoia Trees, perhaps) an appointment to visit can be made. Most of Edie’s work, however, is shipped to and from her workshop by UPS, FedEx or the post office. She has become an expert over the years in knowing how to protect the most delicate and valuable items, so she can give excellent advice on how to pack safely. If needed, a box can even be constructed and sent directly to the client, with instructions and packing materials.
